LIBERATORS ESCAPE JAP PHOSPHORUS BOMBS, after having just unloaded their bombs on the island of Iwo Jima, in the Kazans, only 650 miles from Tokyo. The phosphorus bombs were dropped by Zeke fighters just before they began a series of unsuccessful passes at the U.S. Army 7th Air Force Liberators.
